Farewell Sjaku

Sjaku steps down as Head Coach of our LoL First Team, with ScottyMcScoot taking the place as Interim Head Coach.

With the 2023 NLC 1st Division starting in a matter of days the roster is now locked for the Spring Split but we now say goodbye to Sjaku. His departure was the result of reflection on the demands of leading the LoL First Team and balancing the demands of a growing career outside of esports.

Sjaku has been with Nativz since it was established back in May 2021, the last remaining team member. In his time Sjaku was instrumental in developing the up and coming players on our LoL Talent Team, winning the Danish League of Legends 2021 Winter Split and most recently winning the 2022 NLC 4th Division.

Effective immediately, Nicolaj “ScottyMcScoot” Simonsen will step up as Interim Head Coach for the 2023 NLC 1st Division Spring Split. The roster for the split will be announced in the coming week.

“While we’re sad to see Sjaku leave us and we wish him all the best,” said Co-Founder Kurt Pittman. “It’s really important to us that we promote from within where possible so giving Scotty an opportunity to step up for the Spring Split was a straightforward decision.”

“We’re really looking forward to seeing what he can achieve with the roster that we’ve assembled.”
