COLLEGIATE CHALLENGE EVENT

In May 2023 we were offered the opportunity to take the main stage at GamerFest's Summer event. It was at this time that the Ireland Esports Collegiate Challenge was born. The pilot event featured finals for Rocket League and Valorant in front of more that 300 people in attendance.

Leading into the 2023/24 series the Collegiate Challenge was launched in full, each College and University have a nominated 'top team' across each of the titles they participate in. The points gained from their regular round games and bonus points from the Semester Finals go towards their standing.

The season culminates in the top two Universities and Colleges playing off in a best of one for each title to see who takes the crown as No. 1.
