We’re back with another weekly catchup of all things Nativz, just as we promised! This week we’ll be diving into the start of our League of Legends Academy run, whats to come on the Rocket League field and a new Academy roster being on the horizon... 👀

Kicking Off Our LoL Journey! 🧙

Our first game in The UKEL 4 Nations - Division 2 was a derby against the other Irish team in the league, Team Chungus. We had a solid draft, starting with safe and traditional picks of Jayce, Jinx, and Braum, followed by Xin Zhao. For last pick, bbmuffin pulled the Swain out of nowhere, it caught everyone of guard since he hasn’t been seen on Swain for a while even in soloq.

Overall it formed a strong comp, with Renghis on Jayce, boasting a 100% win rate in his soloq games, and Kaisinel picking up arcanes very own Jinx, where he also has a high win rate. Additionally, Shpee and Ocht chose champions that synergized well with the team and had good win rates as well. Unfortunately even though our team composition and synergy was great we couldn’t secure the win.

Our second game of the split rolled around last night, and we went up against a pretty solid team, Good Chi Infernus. We gave it our all, and bbmuffin was really showing off on Corki, dropping some big ones... But, despite the effort and some great plays, we couldn’t quite snag the win this time. It was a fun match, and we’ll bounce back even stronger next week!

Rocket League: ICC Adventure and Upcoming Challenges!🚀

As mentioned in our Rocket League Academy announcement article, we’ve got some big tournaments in the works such as the ICC, which began on January 20th and running until February 23rd. In the ICC, we'll be competing in a three-tiered league that leads into a knockout stage, and we are currently at the top of the middle tier.

In addition to the ICC tournament, we will also take part in the Reboot Gaming Cafe LAN on February 8th. Following these events, we’re gearing up for the RLCS Qualifiers, with the goal of showcasing our skills on the biggest stages in esports.

Valorant Trials: The Path to Greatness Begins! 🔫

We're super excited to let you know that our Valorant Trials have brought in tons of amazing applicants for our roster! Seriously, there's so much talent out there, and we can't wait to see what unfolds! 🎉

The familiar name of cmd will be running the trials, who was previously a part of our Nativz Valorant roster a while back! He and the boys represented both Nativz and Ireland at the Campus Clutch Finals in Brazil back in 2022, where they did everyone proud. It’s great to have him back on board and we have no doubt he will build us a stacked roster.

We can't wait to see how it all goes down! 🌟

Sneak Peek: What's Coming Up? 🔭

Once our Valorant trials wrap up, we’ll get the roster announcement out so you can see what we’ve built from Ireland’s best! This is an exciting time for us, and we can’t wait to reveal the talented players who will be representing us for the year.

In the meantime, the next couple of weeks are going to be incredibly busy for us! We’ll be diving headfirst into picking up some League wins and putting on some shows on the Rocket League pitch.
