Your Weekly In Season Update - Issue #10

Hey Nativz Key Holder,

Valorant Trials & Valorant Éire Quals

We just wrapped up our Valorant trials last Thursday, February 13th, and we're stoked to announce our main roster:

And of course, we have @W on deck as our sub, just in case!

These guys just took down the Valorant Éire qualifiers, no sweat pulling off a 3-1 score over all the other teams that tried to take our spot. They're officially headed to the main event now, and they're looking pretty pumped! The team have been putting in the hours to get prepped, and it's awesome to see their hard work paying off.

We’ve managed to pull together a super chill crew who are always up for a challenge who aren’t afraid to try new things and are always looking to improve which is everything you want in a title like Valorant. They're definitely a team to watch out for in the main event. Who knows, maybe we’ll even take home the trophy as the newbies in town! #NativzWin!

Rocket League Team LAN Adventure!

On top of our Valorant success, our Nativz Rocket League Academy Team recently took a trip to the QUB Esports Reboot Gaming Cafe for a LAN tournament. It was a total blast! We were surrounded by Ireland’s best, all pumped up and ready to battle it out.

We played some seriously intense matches, and even though we didn't quite make it to the top, we ended up with a solid 5th-6th place finish. Overall we were all pretty happy with that finish, considering how tough the competition was and only recently starting to play as a team.

The highlight of the whole experience was definitely the people. We met some really cool players, shared some laughs, and even learned a few new tricks from the other teams. It was a great chance to hang out, enjoy the game with everyone and kick off our competitive Rocket League journey. A huge shoutout to RL_Ireland for making this event happen!

Division 2 Updates: It's All About the Journey, Right?

We won’t lie, it’s been a fairly rocky experience for our Nativz League of Legends Academy Team. We've had some wins, but we're still figuring things out, currently sitting in 8th place with a 2-6 record.

We're not letting the score get us down though! We're working hard as a team, and everyone's been improving - which we’d hope as for how many scrims we’re getting in! We've got some tough matches coming up, but we're feeling confident that we can turn things around.

We're really grateful for all the support from our fans! We're going to keep grinding and see where it takes us.

Just wanted to give a quick update on our Division 2 game last night. We went head to head with our buddies over at @DMGesportsUK, and while we didn't come out on top this time, it was still a super fun match. GGs to them!

We had some good moments, some tough moments, but overall it was a great experience. We're always learning and growing, and we're already looking forward to our next match. We'll keep you updated on our progress!

Looking ahead 🔭

As we look forward, we can’t wait to see what more our Valorant and Rocket League Academy teams can achieve and to see our League of Legends boys close the split out with some more wins!

But do not fear, this isn’t goodbye from the Nativz Nexus News. While we will be in the off-season and have less to talk about, we’ll still drop into your inbox once a month to update you on everything we have going on 💜
