On June 10th 2022, Nativz made the step into Valorant having signed Irish based talent direct from the Legions Collegiate network. Previously known as ‘We Go Spain’ and ‘X7 Ireland’ (not to be confused with the League of Legends org.!), this team of five have been turning heads over the past year. With 3 of the starting roster finishing first place in Ireland’s biggest Valorant tournament, Campus Clutch, and the other two members placing second. Now all on one team under the Nativz name, we are proud to say we have secured ourselves the very best of emerging Irish talent in the Valorant scene.

As another title published by Riot Games, the Valorant professional format has recently undergone a makeover. This change means that the Nativz First Team will be competing in VCT, a Europe wide competition, in addition to the smaller scale tournaments such as VRL’s & VCT’s they compete in - supporting the local Irish community.

Valorant Team Manager Pad says, “We were impressed with the enthusiasm Nativz showed for supporting an Irish-based roster. While we have been competing together for some time, working with Nativz gives us the opportunity to represent both the Irish esports scene and a growing, dedicated Irish org.

“VALORANT’s competitive scene in our region is constantly developing, and we are delighted to be joining Nativz as we continue to compete in both regional and wider events.”

Co-Founder Kurt Pittman says, “Expansion into a second title has been in the planning for some time, to give us a broader reach from which to grow our community and create another pathway for gaming talent to join.”

“To be able to achieve this growth from the local Irish esports scene was ideal. Big thank you to our own Sam Molloy for leading this project. Stuart Dempsey and his team at Legions Collegiate have also been fantastic, we’re really pleased to be able to give talent from within their ecosystem an opportunity to step into a professional org.”

The new Nativz Valorant First Team roster is as follows:

Ciarán ‘CMD’ McDonnell - @cmd_VAL

Tymoteusz ‘mytnemoM’ Daciuk - @mytnemoM

Joseph ‘Bopper’ Geraghty - @Bopper_Val

Conor ‘DUUFFFY’ Duffy - @DOOOOOOOOBS

Karolis ‘Karokis’ Žiubrys - @theRealKarokis
